Overview

The very basis of the principles of having high level employees' competency, discipline and motivation, and their relation to the ability to execute company strategy to achieve objective are considered by most companies as highly critical if they are to be successful and stay in the business for a long time. In addition, most companies also recognize to certain extent the value of having development program, and aligning it with company succession plan. The steps of bringing staff to competency, expertise, multi-skills and subsequently development levels do require investment, and the return can be realized either in a short time period or longer time period, especially those that relate to strategic competency development.

Objective

  • Understand the critical important of Training Needs Analysis (TNA) in supporting the long-term business strategy and the shared training program responsibility of all HR Managers, Line Managers or Supervisors.
  • Understand the method to develop Training Plan based on the TNA, calculation of Budget and calculation of ROI.
  • Ultimately, participants will be able to bring the culture of competency, discipline and motivation company-wide to achieve the desired objectives.
