SAFETY PROGRAM

Behavioural approaches to safety management are now commonplace and are designed to improve workplace safety by promoting behaviours deemed critical to health, safety and risk control.

Environmental consideration is one of the critical aspects of any development and operations activities. It is a legal requirement by the laws and regulations both federal (under Environmental Quality Act, EQA 1974) and state government (Natural Resources and Environmental Ordinance, NREO 1993). Apart from that, nowadays, it became a social obligation for the industries to contribute to environmental conservation.

This course is made to enable the safety and health committees, and employees to perform JSA and HIRARC efficiently. The scope of this course covers the basic definition, JSA, and hazard identification, risk assessment and risk control (HIRARC).

This course is designed specifically to meet the needs in implementing incident notification, investigation and reporting. The focus of the content is on the 'how' part rather than theory.
